Established in 2004, the Kicheche Community Trust has become a reliable source of funding for projects in and around the conservancy communities where we operate.

Our Objective

Our mission is to encourage the preservation of the environment whilst improving the welfare of the community through improved health and education facilities. We strive to empower the community through revenue earning projects too.

Kicheche donates $5 per bed night to support Kicheche Community Trust. Guests can also directly contribute to support a particular project(s). The Kicheche Community Trust allocates all funds to projects, no admin fees are withheld.

The Team

Hudson Saigilu KMC

During your time at Kicheche Mara camp, Hudson will gladly share with you some of his great Maasai stories. One can be assured to be rolling in laughter, absorbing genuine Maasai culture in the process. Whilst funny, Hudson is equally caring, kind and very efficient. Hudson heads up all the Kicheche Trust projects hereby applying his deep cultural knowledge and the passion for community work. Armed with an unforgettable smile, Hudson’s inherent ability to care will simply contaminate you.
